End of Season Tournament (April 2010)
The result of the 'End of season tournament' was the same as the Christmas Tournament, in that Sharon and Jerry both proved victorious again, prevailing over Debbie and Liam in a closely contested final. In the 3rd place play-off, Hannah and Martyn saw off Jo Clemens and John Farrell.
We must add a special word of praise for Liam who made Jerry work hard for his victory in the final and only lost by 2 points. He is clearly the most improved player in the club this season and will surely move up a level (or two) next season.
A word of thanks to Vic who stood in at short notice despite being injured, ensuring we kept to the ideal number of 12 pairs.
